Number Bond Machines You can choose to practise number bonds to 5, 10 or 100. The machine gives you one number and you have to type in the number you would need to add to it to make 5, 10 or 100. Click the button to check your answer and see how high your score can go.
Put the Kids on the Bus In this game from ABC you have to put a given number of kids into the double-decker bus. To do this, drag them from the bus stop to a bus window. They can't all fit on one deck, so they have to be split into two groups and the front windows of the bus explain how you have made up the total. Click the check number button to see whether you are right.
Save the Whale Number Bonds Game At the top of the screen you can choose to work on number bonds up to any total between four and ten. Drag the correct length of pipe into place to complete the number bond, then the water will flow and free the trapped whale.
Safe Cracker Game Use the X and Z to turn one dial and the left/right arrows to turn the other dial. Can you crack the safe by finding two numbers that add up to make the target number? If you answer enough questions correctly you will get a bonus asteroid-style game.
Test the Toad In this game from BBC Schools Numbertime you have to click on the answer to the addition or subtraction sum shown at the top of the screen. You can use the people numberline to count along and help you find the answer. The toad will then hop along to right number.
